We are an innovative start up and we run lighting calculations on software developed in house. We start from your plan: from there come the calculations for every homogeneous road section, not one average across the whole authority.
The optimisation engine analyses thousands of configurations and picks the one that minimises consumption while holding the required lighting class. Cutting consumption below the safety threshold is not a saving: it is a defect.
