Everything, one line at a time
Material, shape, size, decorative element, wiring and finish are decided in production. This is not customisation among options: it is a fitting that did not exist before.
The result brings together two things usually traded against each other: the latest sources for lighting performance, and the styling the interior scheme asks for.

Renders and 3D simulation show the fitting before it exists, and the exploded view shows how it is built inside.

The specification goes into the factory, not through an importer
On a contract project time is the deciding variable. When the supplier is also the manufacturer, a change does not cross three desks: it gets made.

The documents site asks for, produced by whoever builds the piece.

CE, UKCA, GS and ETL/UL are decided in production along with everything else.

Quotations, orders, progress and digitally signed approvals, in a reserved area.
Three materials, and what they decide in the finished piece
They are chosen in production, together with shape, finish and light source, not from a menu.
Blown glass
Blown glass never comes out identical twice: sizes are chosen afterwards, by matching.
Veined black marble
Marble arrives as a slab and returns with the recess already milled: the seat of the source is machined, not glued.
High-vacuum chromed ceramic
Vacuum-chromed ceramic holds its colour where a paint would yellow.

It depends on what is needed: 24-48 hours to find an alternative already in the range, one week for drawings, dimensioned plates and 3D models, 60 working days for a piece built from scratch, certification included.
Yes. Sizes, finishes and light sources are changed in production on catalogue products too: bespoke does not have to start from a blank sheet.
CE, UKCA, GS and ETL/UL. They are decided in production along with everything else, and the piece leaves with its declaration of conformity, shop drawings and bill of materials.
Every piece leaves the workshop already numbered, in a crate built around its parts, with an installation manual in five languages. The eight-point star, for example, was dry-assembled on the workshop floor before lacquering.
Yes: the eight-point star photographed in the workshop measures six metres. And the working drawings of one of our specifications count 105 blown-glass elements, 123 LED spotlights and 296 tubes in nine lengths.
The same factory that designs it, in Padua. There is no importer between the specification and the piece, and a change does not cross three desks: it gets made.
