The process: from specification to installed piece
- A project comes in as a specification, a floor plan or a sketch.
- It goes back as a dimensioned drawing with its real lead time, plus the lighting calculation, which we pay for.
- Shape, material, finish, light source and certification are decided in production, not picked from a menu.
- Out come shop drawings, bill of materials, mock-up room and declaration of conformity.
- Every component is cut, bent, welded and lacquered in our workshop; the wiring is tested before assembly.
Modular or handcrafted: both, in the same factory
- Modular: LED track compositions are built in the 3D configurator, with sizes, materials and finishes, and viewed in augmented reality before they exist.
- Handcrafted: copper, blown glass, brass, marble, ceramic, steel. Pieces made by hand to drawing, numbered and tested before they leave.
- Instead of a product already specified: on tenders we also work as a substitute, with an improved alternative at the same lighting requirement.
The paperwork, to install anywhere
- CE, UKCA, GS and ETL/UL declarations of conformity: a piece made in Padua is installed in Germany, the United Kingdom or North America with its own paperwork.
- EORI, REX and LUCID customs codes: the goods cross the border without the client having to deal with it.
- Two companies, one factory: Lightinup Srl for Italy and continental Europe, Lightinup International Limited for the United Kingdom and English-speaking markets.
